The package, this time, is actually several items piled on top of each other:

- A large manila envelope
- A smaller manila envelope
- A square box, neatly wrapped in the comics page of the newspaper, and taped to within an inch of its life

The larger of the two yellow envelopes has a handwritten note right on the envelope:

Inside are a half-dozen blown-up (8x10-sized) photographs that ought to look familiar. They're Liz's favorites of Laura's favorites; an atmospheric photo of Alcatraz by night, a close-up of two brightly-colored parrots on a branch, and then four pictures of various neighborhoods and strangers. One of the four is of the Mission by night, several teenagers laughing in the foreground; one is of three kids holding skateboards and looking down from the very top of one of San Francisco's famous hills, faces alight with anticipation; the other two are of people caught in the middle of an animated conversation, one in the middle of a crowd of grinning faces (they're all looking up at something), and one in a suburban neighborhood in front of a particularly lavender Painted Lady house.

The comic-wrapped package is a plain white box; inside the box is a Polaroid instant camera and several rolls of film. It's an old camera and has obviously been well used; the paint has worn off one corner and there's a dent along the top, but it still works like a charm (Liz tested it, to make sure; she'd been a little suspicious after she spotted the camera in a pawn shop).

The accompanying note says:

And, finally, the smallest envelope is filled with a stack of 4x6 high-quality prints of all of the photos that Laura liked.

The note on this envelope says simply,
